Release Web Terms

Additional terms for using Release Web to publish and manage licensed Marcel and Philippe projects in your Vercel account.

Version 1.0Effective 18 July 2026

1. How these terms apply

These Release Web Terms supplement the GridFrame Terms. By validating a licence key, connecting Vercel or asking Release Web to publish or manage a project, you agree to both documents. If they conflict about Release Web, these additional terms apply to that use.

2. What Release Web provides

Release Web is a browser-based publishing and Vercel account-management utility for licensed Marcel and Philippe projects. It validates the matching licence, checks supported project files, temporarily stages deployable files, and uses the Vercel account you connect to perform the actions you request.

Release Web is not a general-purpose hosting or deployment service. Supported projects must meet the requirements explained in the GridFrame Guide.

3. Product access

A valid Marcel licence unlocks only the Marcel workflow, and a valid Philippe licence unlocks only the Philippe workflow. Your Standard or Pro / Agency rights come from the matching product licence. You may not share a key, publish it, circumvent validation or use one product’s entitlement for another product.

4. Your Vercel account

You connect an account that you control and authorise Release Web to list projects, create or update projects, set environment variables, deploy files, resolve deployment addresses, and add or remove domains when you request those actions. You remain responsible for the Vercel plan, billing, team access, project ownership and domain configuration.

5. Project files and compatibility

You must upload the complete, licensed project and have the right to deploy every included file. Release Web may reject unsupported frameworks, missing package files, Prisma projects, missing Drizzle configuration, missing committed SQL migrations, an obvious cross-product upload, excessive file counts or size, and files that create security or operational risk.

6. Settings and credentials

You are responsible for accurate environment settings and for protecting database addresses, API keys, webhook secrets, passwords and access tokens. Release Web may generate selected blank secrets for the supported product. You must securely retain the generated administrator password and rotate any credential that may have been exposed.

7. Temporary staging and deployment

The browser may upload prepared project files to temporary Cloudflare R2 storage before the server sends them to Vercel. Release Web excludes common local environment files, dependencies, build output and Git metadata from the prepared upload. Temporary staging is not a backup service and is cleaned up after the workflow or cancellation.

8. Your project and content

You keep ownership of your content, domains, service accounts and project-specific work. You are responsible for legality, accuracy, accessibility, security, backups, customer data and the operation of every published site. Your use of the underlying Marcel or Philippe source remains subject to its licence.

9. Build and launch responsibility

Release Web performs compatibility checks but cannot guarantee that a project will build, migrate, deploy or operate without error. You remain responsible for dependencies, committed migrations, build scripts, environment settings, database compatibility, provider setup and testing the published website before accepting real users or payments.

10. Third-party services

Release Web depends on services including Polar, Vercel and Cloudflare. The published products may use other providers. Those providers have their own terms, availability and charges, and GridFrame does not control their systems.

11. Acceptable use

You must not use Release Web to distribute malware, infringe rights, violate law, access another person’s account, interfere with the service, probe security controls, evade licence restrictions or publish content you do not have the right to use.

12. Availability and changes

We may maintain, improve, suspend or change Release Web and its supported workflow. We aim to communicate material changes, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

13. Privacy

The GridFrame Privacy Policy explains licence validation, secure cookies, Vercel connections, project staging and related technical information.

14. Liability and mandatory rights

The warranty and liability provisions in the GridFrame Terms apply. Nothing in these terms limits any right or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Ending access

You may stop using Release Web and remove the Vercel connection. We may restrict Release Web where a licence is invalid, expired, revoked or misused, or where use creates a legal, security or operational risk. Removing the connection does not delete projects already created in your Vercel account.

16. Contact

For Release Web support, email without including licence keys, passwords, database addresses or API secrets.
